URIHANI is a musical project that aims to sensitize everyone to environmental problems through an artistic approach. In Yanomami language, an Amazonian tribe, URIHANI means spirit of the trees, spirit of the forest ».

It is firstly a human adventure, to deliver a positive message for lovers of Nature.

The music aims also to attract the attention of the public on the state of the planet. It enables, in its own way, to reinforce the current awareness.

The two Authors and Composers Philippe and Jeff immediately decided to share there creative ideas.
The world and electro-music of Urhani has its roots in the difficult relation world sustains with the nature today. It tells us about a relation that is often the cause of imbalance, which generates deep modifications on our environment.

But everything is not lost, the human being is already sensitive that it is urgent to master it’s development : He knows that the life of future generation depends upon it.

The musical themes of this album benefit from a strong rhythmic base. Melodies outlined with the transverse flute give gorgeous moments of escape from reality. The conventional structure stance / chorus is often abandoned for a free experimental search. The industrial sounds mixed with traditional instruments suggest confrontation of the modern world with nature.

More than music, Urihani delivers an optimistic message, a hymn to life. Our future life is suspended, the human kind must initiate a necessary transition towards new life modes that are more respectful of the environment !
